Hannah Dominique E. John Kamen was born in England. She has played Dutch in the Syfy show Killjoys and Ornela on HBO's Game of Thrones. Her additional roles include F'Nale on Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One and Ghost in Ant-Man and the Wasp. Hannah was born in Beverley within Yorkshire, England. She is the third child of Nigerian father who is aforensic psychologist and Norwegian mother, who was a fashion model. Hannah attended Hull Collegiate School after completing the primary school at Kirk Ella. The Central School of Speech and Drama graduated her in 2012. John-Kamen started her professional journey when she started providing the voiceover for Dark Souls in 2011. Then she went on to perform in the episodes of television series Misfits (2011), Black Mirror (2011), Whitechapel (2012), The Syndicate (2012), The Midnight Beast (2012) and The Hour (2012). John-Kamen landed Viva, the leading role in Viva Forever the West End Musical based on songs by The Spice Girls, in 2012. The script was written by Jennifer Saunders and produced by Judy Craymer, Viva Forever opened on December 11, 2012 at London's Piccadilly Theatre to largely negative critiques. The Daily Mirror praised John Kamen for her performance. The Daily Mirror noted, "It's a pity a skilled cast, in particular Hannah John Kamen's Viva... as well as Eternity in general, is let down because of the cliched and stale plot." The show ended its run on 29 June 2013. John-Kamen was offered a lead role on SyFy's Killjoys in 2015. In 2016 she had an appearance as a guest star in HBO's Game of Thrones. John-Kamen was a guest star in the episode on Black Mirror, "Playtest". The Tunnel Season 2, as well as Ghost played the part for which she played in the Ant-Man and the Wasp superhero film.
