Jillian Nellie Hennely was born on 25 November, 1968. She is a talented Canadian singer and actress who has contributed a major contribution to American TV. She is renowned for her stellar performances in the American television show Law & Order where she was awe-inspiring for the viewers over three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan wherein she played the protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy demonstrated her skills in films that were independent, including Chutney Popcorn or The Acting Class. Her acting career started in 1988 when she along with her twin sister were the characters in Dead Ringers. In 1990, she briefly appeared on Broadway in the role of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Her next move was into science-fiction and was the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. The following year, her biggest break was when she joined the NBC's sensational drama Law & Order to play the assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. Three seasons of her character was well-loved by viewers. In 1996, she left the show. Parker has appeared on movies and series like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys On The Side, West Wing Angels in America and Red Fried Green Tomatoes, for which she was awarded the Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award. Parker was also awarded an Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her performance as Proof on Broadway.
